Japan’s Fuji-Q Highland amusement park announced on Wednesday that they will be opening a new Evangelion-themed pavilion on July 23. Called “Evangelion: World – Life-Size EVA-01 Construction Project”, it will house the world’s first life-sized recreation of the scene where main character Shinji Ikari meets Unit 01 for the first time, with a mock-up of the Evangelion from the bust up. Other highlights of the Evangelion pavilion include a life-size Evagelion cockpit, a life-size figure of Kaworu Nagisa, a video corner, museum and a shop. The first report on the project will be released on May 26.
Fuji-Q Highland is located on the foot of Mount Fuji and has previously hosted two Gundam attractions.
